Trapped │ NEX-7 + Carl Zeiss Biogon T* 35mm F2.0 ZM │ 35mm F4.0 1/200s ISO100What's that I see through the trees? Is that sun shining on the facades on the other side of the canal? I'd almost forgotten what that's like. It's still not boating season though. This one seems to be in the clutches of the tree's branches, not to be released until the warmer weather returns.
The image below isn't anything special. I thought I'd post it as a public service as it's taken with a LEICA ELMARIT-M 28 mm f/2.8 ASPH that I was able to try on my NEX-7 for a few minutes. I admit it's not the best test image, but it gives a rough indication of what to expect. Of course after only a few minutes and a handful of images, it's not possible to say much if anything about the subjective qualities of the prestigious Leica. Here's a link to the RAW file of the photo below.

Well, it is a 28 mm lens, but the branches upper left don't look to good even at this small resolution. The biogon is much better, right?
I don't really want to pass judgement based on only a few minutes with the Leica 28/2.8 and only one shot with fine detail in one corner, but based on what I see here, I'd definitely say the Zeiss Biogon 35/2.0 is better in the corners, certainly by F4.0.
