Divided by Red

Two Halves │ NEX-7 + Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* E24mm F1.8 ZA │ 24mm F3.5 1/60s ISO100It was so dull today in Amsterdam that this little bit of colour was enough to make me get off my bicycle. I had to take the photos quickly as the camera was getting wet. Both were taken with the 24mm F1.8 Zeiss Sonnar which was the only lens I had along; I'm not about to take a whole arsenal of lenses on a day like this. Oddly enough though, I seldom miss the lenses that I don't have with me. One prime is usually sufficient and I'm not distracted by the thought of changing lenses.

I can hardly imagine what it would be like to have your techniques and excellent point of view applied to such a special human being.as Roberto Bolle..ciao Mimma

p.s.: looking at your shots makes me feel closer to my fellow humans....despite what has recently happened to the beautiful Costa Concordia....near Isola del Giglio...

It's a delight to hear from you, Mimma.
I would love to take a crack at photographing Roberto Bolle; do you have tickets for me?
As to the Costa Concordia, so many suffered in what could easily have been avoided.
