do all 4 towers have the same platform-like balconies? i can only see them in the first building, which looks really convincing, the others make a somewhat boring impression. the facade is a bit too simple.
a very nice composition btw. why no color version? and i would love to try the raw from this :)
You have sharp eyes, Olaf. Indeed, only the first of the 4 towers has the irregular, cantilevered balconies. That's why it makes for a better foreground structure than the others. That said, on closer inspection the other 3 have a unique but more subtle facade structure which outlines each of the different apartments, linking the units like a puzzle. I've updated the post with a second photo taken from the opposite end of the row.
oh i see, thanks for the other photo. i think the inhabitants of the other 3 towers must envy the ones from the first tower.
from the first photo i also have the impression as if the platforms were somehow "extrudable". just imagine how animated the facade would be if you could extend your balcony to your liking. if not needed, you just pull it back hahaha...
That's a great idea for a dynamic building whose appearance changes according to the needs of its residents. Just remember to remove your potted plants before retracting the balcony...
this first building really impresses me. it has a very modern look, like "greeble" or something.
if you pass by again at this place, i would welcome other photos from there with some details, close ups and maybe a total view of the facade (now that you have your 100-300 you should be able to take some interesting ones ;-)
